RULES WHEN SIGNALLING ON THE ROAD

You must ensure that any signals you give are clearly visible. These signals can only be used in the event your indicator lights or brake lights are faulty.

The hand Signals are as follows

• I am Turning Left

• Overtake me

• I am Stopping

• I am Turning right

• Move to the left- or right-hand side of the road prior to turning or stopping in order to allow other drivers to react in good time.

You may not use hand signals on a freeway, except in an emergency.
