CROSS ROADS AHEAD SIGNS
Where: On any road, particularly in urban areas.
Purpose: A side road crosses the continuing road at an intersection ahead. The road will continue in the direction of the arrow. When the road curves, the sign will let you know the direction of the curve.
Action: Approach cautiously, look carefully and you must be able to stop if cross-traffic requires it. The arrow indicates which vehicle has priority. Traffic on the minor road must give way.
